Medals
The Medal of The Bar of Montreal is conferred by the Council, after consultation with the Conference of former Bâtonniers, upon persons, who may or may not be members of the Bar, their remarkable contribution to the cause of justice.
The medal is presented in a blue velvet jewel box. It consists of a silver circle 7.5cm in diameter and about 5mm thick. On the obverse is embossed the image of the two Montreal Courthouses and in the background the outline of Mount Royal crowned with its cross.
